About Prepser
Prepser is an iPhone and iPad app for pastors: an AI second brain for your sermons and notes. Every sermon you record or import, every page you scan and every thought you speak lands in one library. AI Chat works across that library: it helps you recall what you preached, turn Sunday's sermon into the week's material and draft what comes next.
Who Prepser is for
Pastors who preach every week and do the rest of the week's work themselves: the small group questions, the newsletter, the social posts, the prayer list, next Sunday's study. Prepser is built for pastors of any tradition. Three questions in onboarding set the language you preach in, your tradition and your Bible translation, and every prompt follows them. Prepser uses the 66-book Protestant canon, and English quotes the ESV unless you pick another translation.
Prepser works in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Korean, for the app and for the sermon itself.
What Prepser does
- Captures a sermon from the pulpit, an audio file, a scanned Bible page or pasted text, with live transcription on the device while you speak.
- Turns a sermon into the week's material: a transcript of every recording, and from a prep built on it: Scripture, teachings, Bible verses, outline, key points, prayer points, social posts, a newsletter, small group questions and a review of your invitation.
- Answers from your own library in AI Chat and shows the notes it used.
- Drafts a sermon, devotional, youth talk, kids lesson or Bible study from a short brief, built on your own notes when you want it to. See how Draft a sermon works.
- Preps the next message: pin notes to a Sunday message, Bible study, small group, youth talk or devotional, and export a Logos Personal Book.
The sermon stays yours
A draft is a first draft, never the final word. The sermon is between you, the text and the Spirit. Prepser gives you material to study, cut and rewrite; it doesn't replace your study or your pulpit.
Your recordings are never used to train AI models and never sold. There are no ads. Transcription and generation are processed by OpenAI and AssemblyAI on our behalf, and you can delete your account and everything in it from Settings → Delete account. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
How we write this site
Pastors read this site to decide whether Prepser is worth their Sunday. These are the rules every page follows:
- Facts come from the app. Every feature, button name, limit and price on this site matches the app as it ships. If Prepser doesn't do something, we don't say it does.
- No invented numbers. No user counts, ratings, accuracy percentages or testimonials until we have real ones to show.
- Samples are real output. The sermon drafts, outlines and questions on this site come from Prepser itself and are labelled with the brief or recording they came from.
- Competitors are described from their own pages. Comparison pages link to the competitor's public pages and say when we checked them. If something is out of date, tell us and we'll fix it.
- Pages are kept current. When the app changes, we update the page and the date at the bottom. We correct mistakes in place instead of quietly removing pages.
