Prepser is free to download and free to use for capturing sermons and notes. The Free plan adds a monthly allowance of AI: 30 AI chat messages, 3 sermon drafts, 3 prep generations and 3 study notes. Prepser Pro removes those limits and adds Pro transcripts with timestamps, for $8.99 a month or $74.99 a year.

Monthly or yearly?
Both plans give you the same Prepser Pro. Monthly is $8.99 and you can stop after any month. Yearly is $74.99, which works out to about $6.25 a month, 30% less than paying monthly for twelve months. Prices are in US dollars; the App Store shows the price in your local currency, and the price shown when you buy is the one that applies.
How billing works
- You subscribe inside the app, and Apple bills your Apple ID. Prepser never sees your card.
- New subscribers may be offered a free trial. Payment is charged when you confirm the purchase, or when the trial ends.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancel any time in the App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; we can't issue them ourselves.
- New phone? Open the Prepser Pro screen in the app and tap Restore Purchases with the same Apple ID.

What happens to your notes if you cancel
Nothing is deleted. Your sermons, transcripts, notes and preps stay in your library, and you go back to the Free plan with its monthly allowance. To delete everything, use Settings → Delete account in the app.
Why a subscription?
Transcription and AI generation run on paid infrastructure every time you process a sermon. A subscription keeps the app fast, private and honest: no ads, no selling your data, no "free" tricks. You pay for the work. We do the work.

When does the free allowance reset?
On the first day of each month, UTC. Whatever you used of the 30 AI chat messages, 3 sermon drafts, 3 prep generations and 3 study notes starts again from zero. Recording, importing, scanning and your notes themselves are not part of the allowance.
Do I need an account to start?
No. Prepser creates an anonymous identifier on your device, so you can record your first sermon right away. Sign in with Apple when you want your notes on more than one device. A subscription belongs to your Apple ID, and Restore Purchases brings it back on a new iPhone or iPad.
Is there a plan for church staff?
There is no separate church plan. Prepser Pro is bought on an Apple ID, like any App Store subscription. If your church wants several pastors on Prepser, email support@prepser.com and tell us what you need.
Which iPhones and iPads does Prepser run on?
Any iPhone or iPad with iOS 26 or later. Recording works without a connection. AI Chat, preps and sermon drafts need one, because the AI runs on our servers.
